Dinh Tut

Dinh Tut is a musical instrument of wind family, arch branch of the Ede ethnic group.

The Dinh Tut consists of 6 hornless bamboo sections stet at one end by their natural nodes. Its length is 21-36.5 cm, and the diameter is 1.8-2.5 cm. The Dinh Tut is played by female only and performed as an ensemble in custom rituals. When playing it, six girls, each putting the lip on the head of section and their lip are rounded to blow. Their palm close or open to create trill sounds.
